About the Role

PLUS Tenders is a fast-growing consultancy supporting care providers across the UK with tender writing, contract acquisition, CQC applications, and business development solutions. We are expanding our team and seeking a confident, results-driven Sales  and Market Research Executive to help us grow our client base and strengthen our presence in the health and social care sector.

In this role, you will proactively engage care providers, introduce our services, manage the full sales cycle, and convert qualified leads into active clients. You will deliver compelling presentations, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and achieve monthly sales targets. You will also build strong professional relationships and ensure a smooth transition of clients into our delivery workflow.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct structured market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and emerging opportunities within the UK care sector.

  • Analyse data to support strategic decision-making and sales planning.

  • Identify, contact and engage prospective care providers through targeted outreach.

  • Present PLUS Tenders’ services professionally and confidently to prospective clients.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead qualification, proposal development, negotiation and closing.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales reports and market intelligence logs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to support client onboarding and service delivery.

  • Monitor competitor activity and support the creation of marketing strategies.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Experience in sales, market research, business development or a similar client-focused role (preferred).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and produce actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation abilities.

  • Confidence in approaching new clients and converting leads into sales.

  • Strong organisational ability and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work towards targets and manage a fast-paced workload.

  • IT proficiency, including CRM systems, Microsoft Office and online research tools.

  • Minimum 1st Degree qualification required in related fields

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Hybrid working available. Main office: 603 London Road, Westcliff on Sea, Essex, SS0 9PE.
