PLUS Tenders Ltd is a fast-growing UK consultancy specialising in contract and tender writing, business growth advisory, and operational support for organisations within the health and social care sector. We support domiciliary care, supported living, and children’s service providers across England to secure contracts, achieve compliance, and scale sustainably.
We are expanding our team and seeking a qualified Business Management Consultant to support our growing portfolio of clients and internal business operations.
Role Overview
The Business Management Consultant will play a central role in analysing business performance, developing strategic solutions, improving operational efficiency, and supporting clients with tender readiness, compliance, and growth. The role requires strong analytical ability, sector knowledge, and high-level consultancy skills.
This is a Skilled Worker–level role, requiring specialised knowledge, independent judgement, and the ability to work on multiple complex projects.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Strategy
- Conduct detailed business assessments for clients, including market research, financial analysis, and organisational reviews.
- Develop strategic business plans, operational frameworks, and growth roadmaps aligned with industry regulations.
- Advise clients on scalable models, workforce planning, and future service development in the UK care sector.
Tendering & Compliance Support
- Analyse tender specifications from UK local authorities and NHS bodies.
- Prepare structured tender responses, compliance documents, and operational evidence packs.
- Provide guidance on meeting CQC standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Operational Improvement
- Design and implement operational processes, performance systems, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Identify business inefficiencies and recommend practical, measurable solutions.
- Support digital transformation initiatives, including CRM systems and workflow optimisation.
Client Engagement
- Manage client relationships, deliver consultancy sessions, and provide ongoing advisory support.
- Prepare strategic reports, progress summaries, and improvement recommendations.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
Skills & Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in business consulting, operations management, business analysis, or strategic planning.
- Strong understanding of UK business operations, compliance frameworks, and organisational development.
- Experience within the health and social care sector is advantageous but not essential.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in drafting reports and business plans.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and presentation skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Management, Business Administration, Economics, Management Consulting, Health & Social Care Management, or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in business analysis, project management, or regulatory compliance are an asset.
